Question by Purrr: Can I use the vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide treatment for removing cat urine smell?
Last week I sprayed the area with a 50/50 water/bleach solution. Is it safe to use the above to clean the carpet after using bleach? I'm no good at chemistry so do not know the implications of mixing any of the above.....help???

Answer by twelvetails I am no chemist but have you ever done the "volcano eruption" experiment using baking soda and vinegar? You may want to check the internet before using the above chemicals. Sounds a bit odd.... I have used a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water for household and kitty cat cleaning.

This mattress has a cashmere & wool cover with latex foam and memory foam. We used febreeze and smoke odor eliminator spray but it still has a smokey odor when you get your nose right in it. It's a $ 1999 mattress that I can buy for $ 799!
