Question by Robert: What causes the odor from tanning salons?
What causes the body odor when a person goes to a tanning salon? I don't use any lotion and even if I shower ahead of time I smell nasty when I am done tanning. Could it be the cleaning solution they use on the beds?

I just smell like burned (toasted) coconuts afterwards...

sweat, and also probly what they use to spray it with. we all stink after. thats why they usually provide spray for afterwards. and a nice little candy! lol but yeah its a stinky process! lol but its sexy isnt it;)

i think its the smell of your flesh burning- ugh!!

it could be a chemical in your tanning lotion. i like this stuff call get down brown it has a citrus smell and i think that that is about the best smell of a tanning lotion after smell that i have ever smelled. and i tan alot!!! so i have used a few different kinds of smells.
