Removing cat-urine smell from wool coat?
Question by allison: Removing cat-urine smell from wool coat?
Black winter peacoat.
I've had it dry cleaned twice.
The first time did nothing. I took it to another cleaner who added some sort of smoke damage chemical to it, and it smelled super nice for about 5 days. Now I can still smell the urine. Is there anything I can do?
This is why I hate my sister's cats!!!!!

try inside where it can't be seen before you treat any more of the coat. either a mixture of white vinegar and plain water sprinkled on the coat or spray it with febreeze. both are very good at getting smells out of fabric. I just don't know how either will affect the wool itself.
